HALLOWEEN SONG FESTIVAL.

On October 31st, we celebrated The Halloween song festival. Organized by the English teachers and the Linguistic Programme. The songs were:
1st grade: The skeleton dance.
2nd grade: Countdown to midnight.
3rd grade: Five little pumpkins.
4th grade: Trick or treat song.
5th grade: Halloween creatures.
6th grade: The Monster shuffle dance.

What's the matter with you?

"Cervantes into English"

We participated in the school contest "Cervantes into English" from the Consejería de Educación, according to the Order 6/2017 de 30 enero. Silvia, one of the English teachers, made a short movie "Wanted Quixotes". with eleven pupils from the 5th grade.In this movie we established a relationship between the bullying and the novel by Cervantes. All the novel is full of good lessons for life.
We got the 1st prize in the first phase in Cuenca and the second prize in the regional one. You can see the movie on the school facebook page.

St. Patrick's day.

On March 17th we celebrate St. Patrick, the saint patron of Ireland. We watched St. Patrick's story,  videos with the traditions of this day, songs,  we did a big poster and we made a make-up activity during the break. Pupils form the 5th and 6th grade drew and coloured a shamrock, one of the Irish symbols, to the young pupils. Happy St. Patrick!

TOUR TO CUENCA.

Last Wednesday, 5th & 6th primary students were in Cuenca to see a play of theatre. "The Canterbury tales" by Chaucer.
The actors were very good. We saw three tales: The Chantecleer and the fox, The two boys' tale and The wife of  Bath.
Then we visited the museum  The foundation of Antonio Pérez.We had fun.
