Happy Thanksgiving Day.

Last Thursday, November 24th, we celebrated Thanksgiving Day. It is a public holiday in the U.S.A. and in Canada in the autumn. In The U.S.A. it is celebrated the forth thursday in November. It was originally a day when people celebrated the end of the harvest and thanked God for it, remembering the pilgrims of the Mayflower who arrived to Plymouth in 1620. The traditional meals are roast turkey and pumpkin pie.

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY.

Saint Patrick is the patron of Ireland. It is celebrated on March 17th.
3rd level Primary students have done leprechauns and fairies. It is said that if you find one of them, they have to give you their pot full of gold. Good luck!

(San Patricio es el patrón de Irlanda, se celebra el 17 de marzo. Los alumnos/as de 3º han preparado un póster con unos duendecillos y hadas. Se dice que si encuentras un "leprechaun", tiene que darte su olla llena de oro. ¡Buena suerte!)
